Why a full-system install beats piecemeal work
A new roof is more than shingles. On the homes and shops going up around Clayton, we install the entire assembly together so every layer is working with the next one: synthetic underlayment, ice-and-water shield at the eaves and valleys, properly nailed field shingles, ridge venting, drip edge, and flashing tied into walls and chimneys.
Installing it as one engineered package is what earns the strongest warranty coverage. It also means no surprises three winters from now when a mismatched layer becomes the weak point. For owners along Hwy 395 near Deer Park building new or replacing a worn-out roof entirely, this is the approach that holds up.
New construction and full tear-offs
We handle both ends of the spectrum. On new builds across rural north Spokane County, we coordinate with your timeline so the roof goes on dried-in and weather-tight before the trades that follow. On replacements, we strip the existing roof to the deck, inspect and repair sheathing, and start the new system clean.
- Full tear-off down to the deck, with rotted sheathing replaced before anything new goes down
- Decking inspected and re-nailed where needed
- Complete GAF shingle system with matched accessories
- Site kept clean with magnetic nail sweeps at the end of each day
Engineered for higher-elevation snow
Clayton sits where the terrain starts to climb, and higher-elevation snow means deeper, longer-lasting loads than valley properties see. A roof installed here has to manage real weight, repeated freeze-thaw, and the ice dams that form when heat escapes at the eaves.
We build for that. Generous ice-and-water membrane along the eaves and valleys, a balanced intake-and-exhaust ventilation plan that keeps the deck cold, and fastening patterns rated for our wind and snow. Get the details right at install and you avoid the leaks and dam damage that show up on roofs put on by crews who treat the Inland Northwest like anywhere else.

How the installation goes
It starts with a free, no-pressure estimate at your property. We walk the roof or the plans, talk through shingle lines and color, and give you a written scope and price. Flexible financing is available if you would rather spread the cost.
On install day the crew protects landscaping, tears off (on replacements), repairs the deck, and lays the new system in sequence. Most Clayton-area homes are completed in a day or two depending on size, pitch, and access. We finish with a full cleanup and a final walkthrough so you know exactly what was done.
