Why low slope changes the whole approach
When a roof sits at two degrees of pitch instead of forty, water doesn't shed - it sits, pools, and looks for the smallest seam. That structural reality drives every choice we make on a flat or near-flat deck. Shingles rely on gravity and overlap; on a low slope they fail. A fully welded membrane creates one continuous waterproof surface with no shingle gaps for standing water to exploit.

What TPO brings to a Harrison roof
TPO (thermoplastic polyolefin) is a single-ply membrane heat-welded at the seams into one monolithic sheet. The welds are stronger than the membrane itself, so the usual failure point on older flat roofs - the seam - becomes the most reliable part.

Snow, ice, and the Inland Northwest load
